Diabetes affects millions of people every year. Diabetes is a chronic life long disease involving an inability to break down sugar in the blood  because the body has stopped producing insulin.  Most people with diabaetes take insulin shots or at least watch their sugar and fat intake.   • 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  •  Soak 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds (Hilba) in 1 cup of water at night. Drink the water in the morning on an empty stomach and eat the seeds

Feeling lethargic is awful. Many people have this problem , yet do all the wrong things to reverse it. Many people drink coffee or tea to try to reverse their lethargy, but these will just make it worse. Instead there are some simple home remedies to reverse lethargy. The first one is to get enough sleep. Standard sleep patterns are very important. Another is to make sure ton drink a lot of water. Also make sure you are eating food that have a lot vitamins and anti oxidants.

Home Remedies for a Hangover

The most important thing to remember about hangovers is that they are a product of dehydration.  Since coffee makes dehydration worse, please don’t drink it to battle your hangover.  The best home remedy is simply to drink a lot of water. Fruit juices like tomato juice will also help.  Vitamin C helps breakdown alcohol in the body, so that is a good thing to to ingest.

Home Remedies For Cold and Flu

Having a cold or flu can be horrible.  I know it knocks me off my feet, making me feel horrible.  There are some excellent home remedies for cold and flu.  Here are some:

  • Mix:
    • 1 Lemmon juice.
    • 1 flat spoon of honey.
    • 1 spoon of brandy.

    Drink one tablespoon 3 times a day to help the flu.

  • Put 1 tablespoon of cut/ powder root, pour hot water into the cup, wait for 5 minutes and drink, repeat 3 times daily.
  • Natural cold cure: make green onion soup.
  • Mix one teaspoon of cayenne to 1 cup of boiling water. Take one teaspoon from the mixture and mix with a cup of water; drink when needed.
  • And of course the best and most efficient is Chicken Soup!

Home Remedies For Ear Infection

Ear Infections aren’t really contagious, but rather fluid that has entered into part of the ear.  This why they can be so painful.  One of the best home remedies is olive oil with a little garlic.  What you have to do is put a cotton ball in a mixture of oil and garlic and put it in your ear.  This should relieve the symptoms after a while and help end the infection.

Remedy for Dehydration

Obviously I am going to advocate water as a remedy for dehydration, but I’ll go one step further: water with apple juice or lemon juice.  The sugars in these juices help the body retain the H20 and thus hydrate the body much more efficiently.

Home Remedies: Avocado and Allergies

Just when you thought you heard everything you bump into one more home remedy. Imagine you have this uncontrollable itch on your arm.  You’ve tried everything and nothing works.  Then a friend says: try avocado.  It worked for me.  Well you feel strange at first, but after a while the slimy green substance on your arm actually begins to take away the itch.  Now that is some home remedy.  I know avocado was healthy, but not in that way.
